Multiple MX records in DNS and MySQL

    I'm finding that I am getting multiple occurences of the MX record in my dns zones..

    I found that each time I tick the DNS-MX box in the co-domains properties, it adds another MX duplicate record to the database.

    I then have to delete it from the database manually using phpmyadmin.

    eg: main domain = www.mydomain.com

    I added blog.mycomain.com as a co-domain and ticked both DNS options.
    This creates a duplicate line in the DNS of;

    MX 10 hostname
    MX 10 hostname

    Seeing I was playing with the MX option on the co-domains - I ended up with 10 duplicate records in the DNS :(

    Has anyone else experienced this and if so is there a fix for it ?

    Thanks...

    May have worked it out...

    Have not been deleteing them from the recycle bin in the dns manager - lol..

    How long to items stay in the recycle bin ???? Indefinitely or is there a cron timer or something to delete them after a certain time period ?

    Items stay in the recycle bin until they where deleted manually.
