Friends, I have an ISPConfig server installed and working perfectly, but I need to change servers. I would like to know how I can do this migration without running the risk of losing files and the current server configuration.

Backup and restore would probably be the only way to preserve the entire server config. You could install a new server and use the migration tool to move data, but it would miss things like extra software you have installed and configured.

Jesse Norell, thanks for responding. What would be the procedure for backup and restore?

Image backup with a tool like Clonezilla https://clonezilla.org/downloads.php. If hosts run as virtual hosts on some virtualization platform, the platform has snapshot or other way to make the image backup that can be restored somewhere else.

Currently my ISPconfig is in the CONTABO, I want to transfer to Oracle Cloud.
