yo!!! hi , to all experts in this forum. i'm a php programmer myself.I've been devoted myself into programming for 2 and half yrs. I've seen few of my friends which improve alot. Far more than me, they know every single things about open source program which is new , which is the best , which is not and etc. But i found out myself are not that good, is like !! no improvement at all. am i lack of something!!!. Bro of all , i need advice. how to turn into a geek!! wish to be more up to date!!!. Do i need to sit infront of the pc more than 14 ~ 17 hous a day in order to improve myself? is there any other way to do it? Please advice, i feel so down!!!
I think you're a geek already To remain updated just subscribe((i guess you must be already subscribing) to the rss feeds at http://www.digg.com or http://www.reddit.com and http://www.slashdot.org. And also keep track of some sites like http://www.techcrunch.com etc.
In which area do you want to become better? PHP, Linux, ...? If it's Linux, I suggest you stay tuned to HowtoForge.
