This system doesn't work for me, because I have problems with certificates and even removing the browser's privacy controls it doesn't let me open the site. ISP Config doesn't allow a direct physical link to the space created on my server?
create the site without a cert and don't choose to rewrite everything to https, then you should be able to browse to the site. you'll probably need to specify http:// when typing the url, most browsers now default to using https otherwise. or if you're using a self-signed cert, you'll probably need to disable HSTS.
