    Hi everyone,
    i desperately need help here.
i suspect postfix has tls on or something.
everytime i try to connect on my smtp port
    i'm shown a blank screen.
the mail client can connect to smtp port
but also gets stuck in the connect state
i can connected but i cant do anything!

i already tried to switch off tls and all that
but i dont know whats wrong.
    can anyone help me please?

Do you get any messages or errors in the mail.log?

    What system do you have?
You should have some file beginning with mail
    in /var/log

    on debian its mail.info, mail.err, mail.log
on centos / rhel it is eg maillog

    Oct 17 11:41:45 vps postfix/master[5252]: warning: /usr/libexec/postfix/local: bad command startup -- throttling
Oct 17 11:41:45 vps postfix/smtpd[14909]: fatal: open database /etc/aliases.db: No such file or directory
    Oct 17 11:41:46 vps postfix/master[5252]: warning: process /usr/libexec/postfix/smtpd pid 14909 exit status 1
