    ???

    Hi,

    i miss the setup script???

    after

    tar xvfz ISPConfig-2.1.0.tar.gz
    cd install_ispconfig

there is no "./setup" or "setup" file?

the size of "ISPConfig-2.0.9.tar.gz" is around 20 MB,
    "ISPConfig-2.1.0.tar.gz" is 18 MB.

bolinux is correct. The file is corrupt from where I downloaded from. I think a re-pack is needed. I browsed the archive and thre are alot of files missing. I tried downloading through IE and flashget, both with the same message.

Yes, the archive at Sourceforge is corrupt. The original file has 20863193 bytes, the one at Sourceforge has only 18403328...

I just downloaded and tested it. Works fine now. Thanks till and falko!

Edit: The direct link in the newletter is a 404. I don't know whether it hasn't reached all the mirros or not that is causing the message error.

You need to delete the install directory per instructions in the documentation. I suggest you start another topic for any of help.

I'd save the ISPConfig database, do a new ISPConfig install (in the installer, try to use the same settings as in the old installation), and afterwards replace the new ISPConfig database with the old one.

ispconfig is mostly an ISP panel ... so if you offer internet services , you can easy manage client from within ispconfig . however , a hosting panel is based on hosting functions . like , i didn't saw in ispconfig tools like:

    custom error pages
    password protected directories
    mail manager (for users)
    subdomains manager etc. ...
