    Good afternoon,
I went to buy the ISPConfig manual and saw that the last publication date was: ISPConfig 3.1 Manual; Date: 09/27/2016.
Is this manual expected to be updated?
    Thank you

Did you recently bought it, because if you do, you status should be different.
Yes but no date is given. For the time being you can use online documentation for the latest.

While I’ve often thought about buying the documentation it would be merely to support the team here as theyre already so helpful, I can’t imagine there’s anything in the documentation that the dev team here would just help you with anyways. I could be wrong though.

That's why people should buy it. Support open source projects if you are using them and have the means to do so especially if you make money of of it.
Smallish porjects like ISPConfig benefit alot from this and it's not like the money is wasted - in most cases it goes right back into dev work. So please support at least a few open source projects that you use either with money or contributions or both if you have the means to do so.

There are some parts that are "outdated". But a lot of information is still just fine and correct. We've bought a Version a few years back and it still provides loads of useful information.

Agreed manual is still very useful. Despite that, there are sufficient online documentations (https://www.ispconfig.org/documentation/), tutorials (https://www.howtoforge.com/) and discussions (https://forum.howtoforge.com) almost on all aspect of this product, so even without the manual is more than enough actually, but using them all with the manual will enhance your knowledge and improve your experience even better.

I bought the manual quite a long time ago, then I used to ask questions and shared my views, then I supported ISPConfig with code contributions and forum supports, where later I was offered free supporter badge for my contributions and supports but lastly I thought it would be best if I just contribute with both, so I subscribed and I just keep doing both of them now.

So I agree with @pyte that you should buy the manual if you wish to support, or even better subscribe (https://www.howtoforge.com/subscription/).
