I know this has been covered before and I used to have it working - but I'm not sure since which upgrade it stopped working. But I can no longer see files starting with a "dot" - ie: .htaccess in FTP.. Have tried the default list option -la and stll no good.. Here is my proftpd.conf in case anyone can help.. ----------------- # # /etc/proftpd.conf -- This is a basic ProFTPD configuration file. # To really apply changes reload proftpd after modifications. # ServerName "Debian" ServerType standalone DeferWelcome off MultilineRFC2228 on DefaultServer on ShowSymlinks on TimeoutNoTransfer 600 TimeoutStalled 600 TimeoutIdle 1200 DisplayLogin welcome.msg DisplayFirstChdir .message ListOptions "-la" DenyFilter \*.*/ # Uncomment this if you are using NIS or LDAP to retrieve passwords: #PersistentPasswd off # Uncomment this if you would use TLS module: #TLSEngine on # Uncomment this if you would use quota module: #Quotas on # Uncomment this if you would use ratio module: #Ratios on # Port 21 is the standard FTP port. LOL - after trying for ages and so posting here - finally worked it out; I wrapped my listoptions in a <GLOBAL> tag like the following and it works now.. <GLOBAL> ListOptions "-la" </GLOBAL>
Thanks! This was bothering me to... I hope that Falko or Till could couple this patch to ISPConfig or tutorials...
