Unable to change the PHP version from Fast-CGI to PHP-FPM for a domain.

Hi,
I am unable to change any domain from FAST-CGI to PHP-FPM. The changes appear to be working in ispconfig, but phpinfo shows no change.

I'm guessing this may be a permissions issue but I don't know where to begin checking.

Did the setting change complete and the red ball with number disappeared from top of ISPConfig window?
Did you see in Monitor tab the data log history show the changes committed?

Sorry about posting in the wrong forum.
To answer your questions, yes I waited for the Red buttons to complete.
I had not investigated the monitor screen ( new user ) - so I will do so henceforth.
I found a pathway that resolved my issue by forcing an update of ispconfig then deleting and recreating the domains in question.
