RAM requirements for ispconfig

Hello,
how much RAM should I put to my new vps to install ispconfig?
I know that the hungy component should be ClamAV.
Is 4 GB RAM enough?

It is. But that highly depends on what you are running on the server. If you want to host 100 Websites or 100 Maildomains it probably is not

 

I'm planning to publish 5 wordpress low traffic sites (less then 500 daily views each) and about 10 email boxes with less then 100 MB each.

 

That will work just fine then you don't need to worry about it.

 

1Gb is plenty if you disable Clam.
Potential issues will come with WP plugins.
Some of them are malware that will use your server for no good.

 

Agreed with @pyte but don't forget to add swap file just in case something's temporarily "eating" your ram.
