Want MY Root? Im going NUTS! I wish I knew more about how ISPConfig really works cause I am having a real hard time with the mail server stuff. Anyways, I have set Squirrelmail and RoundCube(Testing) IMAP auth to PLAIN. but I can't seem to login to mail server from a web client RoundCubeLog Code: IMAP Error: Authentication for xxxx failed (LOGIN): "a001 NO LOGIN failed" in on line 0 /var/log/mail.info Code: Oct 26 14:24:44 xxx imapd[9679]: Command stream end of file, while reading line user=xxx host=xxx.xx [192.168.1.100] Oct 26 14:24:50 xxx imapd[9682]: AUTHENTICATE PLAIN failure host=localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1] But when I login through ssh I have no problem checking my mail. Can someone please point me in some sorta direction.
Ok... So please tell me if I am right or wrong? I CANNOT create my own users with adduser. right? I HAVE TO use ISPConfig to create users and Emails. Right? I tried to make user within a site I created but now I am locked out of the site completely. Code: 403 Error- Forbidden! ????
Ok.. this is crazy. Does anyone have postfix/uw-imap/sasld/ working? I'll even give you ROOT! Im lost here... running in circles
Do you use Debian Sarge? Then make sure you have Postfix and saslauthd set up exactly as described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_debian_sarge_p4 Also make sure you have Code: I accept the risk set disable-plaintext 0 in /etc/c-client.cf.
