Need Cluster Howto (Parrarel or Distributed)

Hello,
maybe somebody can write a howto about creating
a cluster?
I want to make a 10PC Cluster for mathematical tasks and rendering (povray)

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I made somewhat a howto for making a cluster.

I recycled 3 Pentium III motherboards and made an Openmosix cluster with them. Maybe you find it useful. I made an English version here:

It isnt like a HowTo because

- you haven't described how to install openmosix
- you haven't described how to add new nodes

 

Thanks for viewing it, and for your appreciations. What you say it's true, and I'll try to solve the second question:

You can add another node just adding it to the network. The node must be configured to boot via ethernet (PXE) and the master will make its duty. Maybe if you use another type of motherboard, you will need to compile another kernel that suits it and configure master to give that kernel to that motherboard. It's all.
