Good day, I can´t find more information from this. We can create a multiple OpenVZ containers in ISPConfig? And multiple ISPConfig installations in containers?
The classic OpenVZ kernel, which was supported by ISPConfig OpenVZ module, is not under development anymore. So you can not run any current Linux distribution with it, e.g. the last debian version which worked with classic OpenVZ Kernel was 8 or 9 when I remember correctly. So trying to use it in ISPConfig is not useful anymore today.
Hi @all, is there any plan of developing a new addon/module for adding, configuring, starting, stopping (and the billing) of Virtual Machines in ispconfig? I would love to give my customers the opportunity to create proxmox VMs for their own usage. And ISPConfig 3 module for hosted VPS management http://git.csti.ch/ispconfig-modules/hosted-vps/ which is still linked on ispconfig.org is outdated long time ago.
I do no think there is such plan and the older ones had been dropped for quite some times now. I do however believe that proxmox VMs user can be managed in its own way by your own yourself or hired developers to achieve your goal for now. Edited: You may also try to look at this open source module (Proxmox VE for WHMCS): https://github.com/The-Network-Crew/Proxmox-VE-for-WHMCS
I might implement something around LXD in the future. But for now, I'm working on various topics related to Docker. Proxmox is a Control Panel for KVM and LXC on its own; therefore, implementing something for Proxmox is less likely.
