Nobody commented, but I thought I'd give an update. I do not recommend using Z-Push.
Using Claude AI, I was able to get Z-Push working on an ISPConfig3 website. Then the real headaches began.
    1. Z-Push will not allow you to rename directories from Outlook. If you use folders to organize your emails, this creates a huge problems. You will be stuck with folders that you cannot delete unless you go through IMAP to delete them.
    2. Outlook for Android refuses to synchronize subfolders unless they are created from within Z-Push.
    3. Configuring Outlook for Windows to use your Z-Push site as an exchange server is a major pain in the neck unless you have DNS pointing to your server. This is because of the default autodiscovery rules.
    4. Performance on Z-Push seems to be slower than using straight IMAP.

I ended up discarding Z-Push. Thunderbird for Android allows you to enable push emails for IMAP servers. On Windows, I set Outlook to check for emails every 5 minutes.

For Z-push not any different to what you would do for an on-premise Exchange server.
Assuming you configured your webserver and Z-push correctly.
Nothing special about that and certainly no major pains in the neck.
Just create a service record for autodiscover and you're good to go for most clients.

There is however one thing that could cause headaches. Applies to both Z-push and on-premise Exchange.
And that is if you have a * record in your dns. It will hijack autodiscover.domain.tld.
You should always avoid such a record if you have no real purpose for it. Not only because of autodiscover.
If you do have it and realy need it just create a record and website called autodiscover.domain.tld and redirect it to your Z-push url. I would use the webserver running Z-push for this but it can be any webserver.

It wasn't that simple for me, because I still wanted to use an email service for sending emails. My setup is to use ISPConfig to fetchmail from my email service to my ISPConfig mailbox but continue using the SMTP server for the email service.

That has no relation to autodiscovery at all.
