Hello, a week ago I installed ISPConfig on my new Ubuntu 24.04 server. I cannot get Pop3 email working on Thunderbird or Outlook 2021. I have SSL successfully installed on all web sites. First, what you posted as a log is not related to POP3. POP3 is a protocol for downloading emails from your server, while the log you posted is about sending emails to yahoo, that's two different and unrelated topics. If you have a problem with POP3, which error do you get in your email client when you try to download emails from your server using the POP3 protocol? Problems with sending emails are not POP3 related. Regarding email sending, your system is blocked for spam sending. If you have not sent spam, then your IP might have been used for spam sending before you got it. The log file does not has to refer to your external server name, run the command: hostname -f if it returns your full server name, then it is set up correctly.
We were using a gmail and yahoo accounts for testing. Currently, trying to get any mail client to work. This is from webmail going from name@gssfllc.com to name@gssfllc.com: server2025 postfix/smtp[12878]: CF10D625D9: to=<name@gssfllc.com>, relay=none, delay=0.18, delays=0.07/0.01/0.1/0, dsn=5.4.6, status=bounced (mail for gssfllc.com loops back to myself)
Please post all lines related to this sending attempt. Also, ensure you added gssfllc.com as an email domain in ISPConfig and not just as a website.
In outlook email account setup I'm getting: The server you are connected to is using a security ticket that cannot be verified. The target principal is not correct. This issue is resolved. I had inadvertently setup 'email routing' for this email domain. I in-activated the email routing and my email started working. Thank you for your timely support!
