i've looked though the manual, but i can't find details about accessing sites before the dns propagates. Like i've seen other hosting services give a url like http://1.2.3.4/user/test_user Any help on this would be great. Thanks. -Matt
For a quick fix, you can add the IP and domainname to the hosts file of the PC that you are using to access the site.
Interesting question because It's very interesting to test the website under ispconfig without waiting the DNS prpagation. I changed the host file on my computer. xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx www.mydomainename.tld xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx mydomainename.tld (IP serveur adress) The domaine name concerned Thanks for the tip, it works ! -------------------------------- But sub directory upload with a ftp program with .php files inside give a blank page when I point to the php file url. Is there other direct access tips??
