I'm running ispconfig latest version: 3.3.0p2 under Debian 13. I changed the PHP Version to e.g. 8.2. This is only possible with another account, but not with the admin login. When I log in with admin, I'm seeing the PHP Version for that Domain or Subdomain. Now the error: When I'm changing, something, but not touching the php version, after pressing "Save" the PHP Version changes itself to "Default". Any idea why? Kind regards Christian
So you can only change the PHP version of a webspace with the user login that owns that webspace, but not with the admin? And the admin can only choose "default"? But the PHP versions are available under "System -> additional PHP versions"?
Yes, very strange. No, they are not available for Subdonain (Vhost). Logged in as the user, I can choose from the whole list. Logged in as admin, I have only the one option I set as user. I don't have all PHP Versions from System -> Additional PHP Versions in the drop-down menu. The problem is, that when I'm logged in as admin and just open a Vhost Subdomain, just looking at it, not wanting to change or save it. Just of a sudden, it starts changing the PHP Version to default and starts saving it. This applies for Vhosts. For Websites, i.e. no Subdomain, I have all PHP Versions in the drop-down menu.
What versions are available at System -> Additional PHP Versions? Did you set the additional PHP only for a specific customers?
Solved! Many thanks. Yes, the PHP Version was set for a specific user. I did not know, that I can leave the user-dropdown empty. After changing this, now I have the additional PHP versions in the dropdown also as admin!
