I'am using multiserver setup of ISPC. Setup is like this: Now, I need to move user from Webserver1 to Webserver2. Does the migration toolkit is the right tool here? Because from feature list I do not understand this.
No, you can not move a website within a multiserver setup as the source and target system that the tool connects to are the same in this case (as both are on same master). This is described in the Migration tool tutorial: https://www.howtoforge.com/tutorial...-confixx-plesk-to-ispconfig-31-single-server/ Chapter prerequisites: "The old and new servers must not be connected to the same master server." But I'm working on a Migration Plugin for ISPConfig that allows it to move websites and mail accounts within a Multiserver setup.
If I buy ISPConfig 3 Migration Toolkit now, will I receive the above for free later or will this be a separate package (price)?
Hello Till, Any news about the migration plugin? I bought the migration toolkit a bit too quickly and now realize that it doesn't work the way I expected. I have to move many websites from one server to another in a multi-server setup. I didn't want to do it manually. Best regards, Thomas
