As Trixie is going general release on August 9th - will ISPConfig & autoinstaller be supported from that or future date?

ISPConfig will not support Debian 13 right away. It will take some time to figure stuff out, test stuff and release a version that supports Debian 13. There are a few issues already open on the tracker with things that don't work on Debian 13 right now.

There are a few things that need to be considered, but yes after checking the migration docs for Dovecot this week, there will be alot of work to be done to support Dovecot 2.4.

You guys are badasses for staying on top of things after all these years. Is Dovecot 2.4 the only stumbling block?

All of the "mysqli_ping() is deprecated" are harmless right?

Yes, it's about 20 years now.

    Mostly yes.

Yes, deprecated messages can be ignored and it should also be a easy fix to replace that function.

This will only work if you are talking about a extremely small setup with no more than a few mailboxes. However @Patrick Cernko provided a patchset for the new 2.4.x release that adds the replicator support back into Dovecot. You can check it out here:

Other than what already mentioned, I am not sure, so sorry, but I am very keen and please to learn that Debian 13 nginx 1.26.3, apache2 2.4.65 and openssl 3.5.1 default version should readily support quic and http3 out of box, which means ISPConfig developers can gear up to make that a reality soonest as they supports Debian 13.

While at it, we could also discuss quic and http3 implementation for Debian 13 here too.

Check what still works. As said above, Debian 13 is not supported yet as several components, especially Dovecot, change din a way that it requires major config changes to support them. If you just run some websites, it might work.
