    Hi,
I ran the Auto-Installer on a clean Debian 13 server and if I enable the E-Mail backup then I get this error message below:
I can also not find any "backup_dir_mount.sh" file in the "/usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts" folder.

Your issue is not related to the auto-installer, as your title suggests. The auto installer neither does email backups nor uses the mount script to mount your backup directory.

This is a function to mount backup directories automatically in ISPConfig using a custom script that you created yourself. According to the message, you enabled that function, but you did not create a shell script to mount the directories. You must either disable that function or you create your custom backup mount script /usr/local/ispconfig/server/scripts/backup_dir_mount.sh.

The plan was to create a local mail backup and then to insert the backup into the new Server. But I guess that's not what that option is for.
I also disabled the option "Backup directory is a mount?" in the "Server Config" menu, that removed the error but no backup was made.

That's not what this function is for. It is a script to mount network drives if needed.

Backups are made nightly, so they will not be made again just because you disable that function. Ensure you disabled it and wait 24 hours.
