Hello, Due to communication reasons, the ISPConfig server changed its IP address, and afterwards I updated the DNS for the hostname domain. May I ask if any other changes need to be made to ISPConfig or the server? I tried searching for some past related topics to learn, but I am sorry I couldn't find any. Thank you.
In my mind, unless any of the internal is based on that public IP, we don't need anything to be changed, just like if you are using a cname, well, caused I always using it, as my public IP keep changing, and I have never had to change anything inside my ISPConfig servers. DNS or MX servers "might" need that specific, simply because I think they depends on that public IP being unique, if I remember correctly, but not other services in an ISPConfig server.
Hello, Thank you, ahrasis. After changing the IP, ISPConfig is currently running normally, and the related services are also functioning properly. On the ISPConfig web page, under 'Server Configuration,' the 'Server' IP address is still the IP before the change. Do I need to change it manually? Thank you.
The IP needs to be changed: 1) In your network settings file, unless you have a virtual server where it changes on its own. 2) in ISPConfig under System > Server config. 3) In your DNS records. 4) un your websites, if you use an IP there and not *
