Hi, i just install proftpd in my fedore machine. service is up netstat -an | grep 21 is listening also but when im trying connect with ftp client, it said login incorrect. i did a searching around and it could be user shell issue. i set to /sbin/nologin of that user but still encounter the same problem. Any idea of this problem? Thanks..
thanks for reply... The problem has resolved. The reason is because the user account is inside /etc/ftpusers this file is deny the user to get in via ftp. After remove the user account , the user is able to login via ftp.
