i have this error on apache when i tryto restart it can anyone give me any clues [root@server1 ~]# /etc/init.d/httpd restart Stopping httpd: [ OK ] Starting httpd: [Fri Nov 24 00:54:14 2006] [warn] NameVirtualHost 192.168.0.3:80 has no VirtualHosts [Fri Nov 24 00:54:14 2006] [warn] NameVirtualHost *:80 has no VirtualHosts [ OK ]
Hi Layla your domains dosen't work. You have in your httpd.conf set a Virtual host called: 192.168.0.3:80, this do you need to plug with # in front, so it dosen't start. When this have been done, your HTTPD server will be running ... Best Regards Mathias
If you don't know what to do you can leave the configuration as it is because that are just warnings, not errors, so Apache will work.
For me not.. www.stiffmiddlefinger.com is going to 192.168.0.3 http://stiffmiddlefinger.com/ (no www. is working for now) www.freeuniquemusique.com can even not be found! edit... Now www.freeuniquemusique.com is also working
About your IP-address Same results here as Edge describes. Note: As far as i know IP-addresses starting with 192.168.0. are ment for internal IP-adresses for use on a LAN for example. I am wondering if it is normal to use your IP-address 192.168.0.3 as an external IP-address. Some questions: - Is your server at home or in a datacentre? - In your browser what is the IP-address mentioned on screen if you go to URL http://www.whatismyip.com/ for example? Maybe - and if your server is at home - use this IP-address an with your router use portforwarding to your server within your LAN with IP 192.168.0.3.
all are pointing to my external ip except in apache virtualhost, where they are internal, and when i dig it shows external
I've noticed that your domain www.stiffmiddlefinger.com, has now IP-address 80.46.120.207 in stead of 192.168.0.3.
