I have ISPConfig 2.1.2 running well on Fedora Core 4. I am contemplating upgrading this to 2.2.8. I will of course take a backup of things first, but is there anything I need to be particularly wary of when performing the upgrade? Thanks
Please make sure you install a c++ compiler before you update. Then make a backup of /root/ispconfig, /home/admispconfig and the ISPConfig database. In case anything goes wrong, you can simply restore the backup.
On Fedora, the package is named gcc-c++, so please make sure you install it before you update ISPConfig.
