Temporary offline

    It would be nice if you could take one site temporary offline. For instance, if the client is late doing its payment.

    Solved

    I solved the problem.
    I added an extra IP-addres; 127.0.0.1.
    Choose the localhost IP-Address for the site you want offline.
    Easy peasy

    You could as well move the site to the recycle bin. If the customer pays, you can restore the site.

    holly molly.. recycle bin? and if they accidently clear it out not realising the account is about to be paid..lol

    127.0.0.1 is a good work around but I don't think it would stop shell or mail accounts etc. a simple tick box to lock everything would be good.

    This is a feature I would love to have. Most of my clients are models and think web designers are like a charity who do stuff for free.

    insteed of using a new IP number, use the forward option

    en set it to a mapping that have a message with that the site is offline due late payments or something like that
