Please.. kill the flash ads! Im on firefox and it extends well into the threads and makes it hard to read anything.
Does it happen only with certain ads (e.g. from telenav), or with all flash ads, no matter from which company?
I'm getting a "UIQ Open 2007" ad in the middle of my screen using Firefox 2.0. (Haven't tried other browsers) It is very annoying and makes it hard to read posts. Half of my text just posting this message is covered by the ad. Thanks. -Matt
Hi Matt, thanks for reporting the banner. I contacted our ad agency to repair or remove the ad. Thanks, Till
Getting overlapping here when the following ads show up in the left column...They cut into the posts making them pretty difficult to read. (I'm updating this post as I browse through tonight) Newegg.com vmware crucial (gizmo overdrive) crucial (ballistix tracer)
Hi Zeos, may you please make a screenshot of the overlapping ad when you see it again and send it to me as PM? Thanks, Till
I just started a reply and noticed the ad to the left right now (goto meeting) doing the same thing. It doesn't really seem bad here, but when it happens while reading a thread it tends to cut the first word or 2 on each line off. I'll attach this screenie to this post.
wow, usually I see "It's your browser, use a different one, we are not having the ads removed" <3 howtoforge
I'll check if we have to fix our CSS styles. From what I see in the screenshot, that skyscraper has a width of 160 pixels where it should have only 120 pixels. Seems the adserver delivered the wrong skyscrapers...
