Followed the tut. On openSUSE 10.2 Using KDE menu (On Screen) My Computer> Network Shares. everything is there ok. How can I when browsing internet save a file from Firefox directly to these network shares? Frank
Can't you browse your filesystem and network shares and select a location when your browser asks you where to save the file?
No, I cannot see any shares from Firefox, or usin any file manager (I can browser local filesystem). But using the KDE style menu, they are in "My Computer, Network Folders"
Then I assume you must change the Firefox settings: Tools -> Options -> Main. Please enable "Always ask me where to save files".
