I've run into an issue with the kernels that are generated in building kernels this way. I'm getting Rpms around 80MB. I also sometimes use other kernels written by other sources for centos, and their kernels are around about 12MB. I've not actually tried to use the kernel for the fear that it might cause data loss. Does anyone know if it's actually the right size ?

That seems to be quite large, but the size depends on what you enabled in the kernel configuration menu.

what is the size of the RPM that you generate ? Mine was a custom compiled system with only a few kernel patches added. the number came out so overwhelmingly different I was and am still worried to try it on.

    I don't remember anymore.
Do you have a test system to test it on?
