IP address 127.0.0.1

    please help me, how to do i change 127.0.0.1 to localdomain?? i'm using mandriva 10.2

    how do i change 127.0.0.1 into localdomain?
    i'm using mandriva 10.2 im going to access "http://localdomain/webmail" then the squirrel mail appear, but if i'm going to access it into a other computer that are connected to the network in the same address "http://localdomain/webmail" the page is cannot be displayed then the address will change to "http://127.0.0.1/webmail"... so how can i solve this task?? thanks in advance.

    check the config.php file
    the localdomain address should be in there .. what you needing to change

    localdomain is what is says it is: local to the computer you're working on. If you want to access squirrelmail running on a server with IP address 10.0.0.1 with a client PC, that has IP address 10.0.0.10, You need to specify 10.0.0.1 as the address squirrelmail is running on.

    If you don't want to enter IP addresses, you need to setup some kind of name based adderssing. Either with a local 'hosts' file on your client PC or setup a local DNS server.
