    Hi,

I bought a new dedi.. with CentOS 4.4 64 bit (my processor is also 64 bit amd).

But when I installed ISPConfig, and created a new site - all seems well until I go into FTP to upload the site. /var/www/ hasn't got any of the site directives that it should have. I did a locate in SSH and it can't find it either.

The log file (/home/admispconfig/ispconfig/ispconfig.log) has these errors:
    Code:

I tried making the folders manually, but that didn't work (site won't load).

    Help please!

Did you had any errors during install? have you inserted the ISPConfig database dump manually?

I didn't notice any errors during the install, however after the install I noticed that the ISPConfig database was empty so I manually inserted the ISPConfig database dump via phpMyAdmin.

Ok, this explains the problems. The database can not be inserted manually. Please uninstall ISPConfig, delete the database and undpack and run the installer gaian.

Make sure that the database you choose for ISPConfig does not exist and that your mysql password does not contain any special characters. The user that you use to install ISPConfig must have the permission to create databases.

Uninstalling didn't work so had to remove files manually. After the second recompile though, everything was smooth :)

    Thanks
