A complete and understandable "How To" for setting up and using the Sony Ericsson GC89 broadband card for laptops would make this newbie a verrrry happy camper. I have found a couple of them, but one is incomplete and the other was written with programmers in mind I guess. I am just coming over from XP and am very new to linux. I am running Dapper on a Toshiba Satellite Pro-Pent4-768 Megs RAM-40 Gig hd. Being a member of the "point and click" genre for the past 15 years, I find it quite refreshing to be able to think for myself and actually learn about what my computer is doing and why. That being said, this broadband card is kicking my butt!! Some help via a good "How To" would be great. Thanks for your time.
