Where do messages "go" when SPAM strategy is set to "Discard"

I am considering enabling this, but am afraid that my disks will be filled with SPAM being re-routed to a phantom e-mail account that I never check or clear out. Do messages get deleted outright, or are they just delivered to another account where they accumulate?

Spam will be deleted if you select Discard.

Yes. The problem is that ALL mails are deleted when the Spam Filter checkbox is activated, although the Spam Strategy is Pass.

Besides, I've checked when the Spam Filter is activated and I try to send an email to this account, in the mailbox only appers the following:

    X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.1.8 (2007-02-13) on reser.mpginfo.com
    X-Spam-Level: ***
    X-Spam-Status: No, score=3.2 required=5.0 tests=EMPTY_MESSAGE,MISSING_HEADERS,
    MISSING_SUBJECT,NO_RECEIVED,NO_RELAYS,TO_CC_NONE autolearn=no version=3.
    1.8

If I desactive the Spam Filters, mails arrive normally.

    Regards.

I'm not sure why this happens. You could update to 2.2.13, it contains a newer SpamAssassin version.
