Install Locale

    Hi Everyone I have Ubuntu 6.06 VPS server with only remote command line access sell.

    When I type locale -a I get the following locale

    root@vs08-104:~# locale -a
    C
    ca_ES.utf8@valencia
    ca_ES@valencia
    de_AT
    de_AT@euro
    de_AT.utf8
    de_BE

    de_BE.utf8
    de_CH

    But I need tr_TR.iso8859-9 also be listed here how can I do it....

    I am really noob in this I would really appreciate being clear to install...

    cat /usr/share/i18n/SUPPORTED | grep "en\|tr" > /var/lib/locales/supported.d/local


    update-locale LANG=tr_TR.UTF-8
