While trying to install ISPCONFIG i get the error Error: FLEX not found I have downloaded 2.5.33 of flex from source forge and gone through the install process with no errors ( I ran configure then make then make install) when I do a man on flex the man pages are installed. I have not tested flex as i do not fully know how. ~D
Please install the flex package from your linux distribution. It is not nescessary to install flex manually.
I am running CENTOS 4.5. I have gone into the "Add application" manager and can not see FLEX listed under any of the available options. Should I be doing this a different way?
Maybe the flex package is part of any other package under centos 5. Did you follow the centos install howto? http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_centos5.0 The howto explains the installation of all nescessary pacakges.
