Hi! I followed your Suse server tutorial, and everything works fine. But... I can login to squirrelmail like this: www.domain1.com/webmail login: [email protected] userpasswd but I can also login like this: www.domain1.com/webmail login: [email protected] otheruserpasswd of course they dont get into one mail account, but i would like to let the users get in only at their own webmail homepage, at their own domain. so now it doesnt really matter if im logging in on anydomain/webmail and i dont like it this way... can someoen help me please? (ive already read vlogin plugin bud aim not sure what to do) thx.
You could either install Squirrelmail in each web site, or you create a symlink from one web site to the current Squirrelmail installation (Apache must be configured to allow symlinks), or you use rewrite rules.
Thank you for your reply. I do not want to install SM to all the sites. My one istallation is working correctly. The problem is for ex.: if a have domains: finance.com and ****.com (yust examples) than i can login like this: webmail.finance.com and i use user@****.com and userpasswd then i get in (in to the user@****.com mail acc). And I dont want to allow this. I would like to achieve that the domains are equal with the login@domains. Are the symlinks the solution to this problem? Thank you.
I think you'd have to modify the Squirrelmail source code to achieve this (unless there are any Squirrelmail plugins that I don't know of).
Hi, sry for my late answer but i was on holiday. Anyway I was looking at the vlogin pugin, but i cant find this option. Can you help me? What should i search for in the settings of vlogin. (its already activated) Thanx.
