I am running a server with xbuntu 7.0.4
Samba 3.024 for file sharing – works great with XP and unix devices within my network
    Running ISpconfig
    I am behind a router
I have a static ip address
I can ssh into my server remotely from outside my network

I would like to be able to remotely mount shared folders from outside my network, like they way I do from machines within my network - is this possible, and if it is please give me any advice you can offer.

    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

Configure your router to forward the ports 137 - 139 to your server.

    I finally figured it out

My ISP is blocking ports 137 - 139, I was going insane looking through what I could have done wrong. haha

Is there a way to remap ports to get around this??
