These entries I added to my previous DNS Server by hand.

    IN MX 1 ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
    IN MX 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
    IN MX 5 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
    IN MX 10 ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
    IN MX 10 ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
    IN MX 10 ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
    IN MX 10 ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.

Now that I'm using ISPConfig. When I add a MX record I get the following fields.
    Hostname, Priority, Mailserver

How would I go about to replicate the above entries using my new ISPConfig setup?
The drop down list for "Priority" only has values from 10 and up?

What should I add to the hostnamefield?

    I'm a bit confused...

The hostname field must be empty.

    personxx,

I have many mails hosted in Google Apps. I proceed like you, put 10 to 70 in Priority. I never had problem.

    Good Luck!

I went that route and everything seems to work perfectly...

For future reference, the absolute value of the preference numbers doesn't make only difference, only the relative sizes. That is, the host with the smallest preference number (you can think of it as a "distance" or an "expense") should be tried before a host with a larger preference number.
