phpmyadmin compression

    i noticed that i cant compress or decompress gzip files with phpmyadmin.
    is there something i have to change with the server or with ispconfig?
    please help. im using the "The Perfect Setup - Debian Sarge (3.1)"

    You can try to install a newer phpMyAdmin version in /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/phpmyadmin/.

    now ive updated my version of phpmyadmin..
    still cant decompress gzip files.

    Error
    You attempted to load file with unsupported compression (application/gzip). Either support for it is not implemented or disabled by your configuration.

    Compress or decompress? Are you trying to download an SQL dump or upload a compressed file?

    i tried to upload a compressed file.

    I want upload bd in compression gzip but cant do this.

    Error

    Im using the "The Perfect Setup - Ubuntu server 7.04"

    ISPConfig's PHP doesn't have gzip support, that's why you can't upload compressed database dumps.
