Has anyone ever got Awstats to work with mail? Or any other statistics for their mail? I'm very interested in this. Where can I go to look for some help in this?

Mailgraph is a good one. It works with rrdtool for good stats. If you run antivirus or anti spam tools it will give you nice graphs etc. RRDTool can be fiddly so get an rpm if you can.

PFlogsumm is also handy. Its a script that runs through your maillog and outputs a summary of last 24 hours action.

PFlogsumm is available as an rpm for most redhat based Linux. Not sure about debian.

Yes, well right now i'm running ubuntu so a debian package would be perfect. I'll poke around with those for now and see if I have any luck installing them. Just for some more insight, has anyone else had any particularly good luck with some mail stat programs.

    P.S

    I'm running Postfix.

I know that this is probably a very stupid question, but where I work we have a baracuda spam filter, and i'm not so much intersted in the spam filter part as i am the statistics for example who is getting the most mail, who is sending the most mail and that kind of stuff.

Is there any free / open source stuff out there like that?

    Thanks.
