Moving existing webserver to ISPConfig server

I have installed ISPConfig on my hobby webserver over a year ago and I am very pleased with it.

For the company I work for now, I have to migrate the existing webserver (with no control panel, so lots of vi to setup a new website). to a new webserver.

Because I am so pleased with ISPConfig on my hobby webserver, I am thinking of installing it on the new webserver too, but before I do I would like to know it there is a way to import the users(+passwords!!)/website into ISPConfig. Because there are 100+ users I don't really feel like looking up all this information and entering it by hand. If I don't use ISPConfig I can just copy the mapstructure, /etc/passwd and I am about ready to rock and roll. I have searched the documentation and the forum, but no answer so far. Hopefully one of you can help with my question:

Can I import users/passwords/website locations from a 'non-ispconfig' webserver into ISPConfig?

    TIA

No. There is no import function for existing setups in ISPConfig yet.

    Thank you

    Hi Till,

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I like the word YET in it ;-) An import function is something that is 'missing' in all the control panels I've looked at, so it is not so easy to switch to a control panel without getting yourself into a lot of work.

    Keep up the good work.
