Setting Up A High-Availability Load Balancer

    Hi,

    I'm testing a high availability cluster with LVS and Keepalived but I don't use HA-Proxy. I was wondering what advantage using HA-Proxy offers over just plain LVS with port redirection.

    I think HAProxy is much easier to set up. But in the end it doesn't matter a lot which solution you use. :)

    Thanks for the answer... I'll continue using keepalived then. The only thing I found is you can't do any layer 7 stuff with keepalived and lvs only.
