ISPconfig E-mail problem

    Hi i am using suse 10.2 and the isp config system set up using the perfect setup instructions.

    but i cannot get any messages out to a e-mail address or recieve any i have sent in

    The server will host a few domains, but i have only set up one account on it,

    robert@domain (dont e-mail this tho i wont get the message!)

    Is the local email address that did not receive the email listed in /etc/postfix/virtusertable?

    I don't see duplicates in that file.

    Please try this:

    postmap /etc/postfix/virtusertable
    /etc/init.d/postfix restart

    getting closer!

    Ok run your code. and played around a little (not that i know what im doing but im learning i think lol)

    so now i can recieve mail but cannot send to outside domain, i get the following in my log:

    robba_duck,

    Not sure if the email addresses you posted are real, but if so and if you do not like spam, you better remove them from here.

    Posting email addresses on any forums / websites WILL get you on a lot of spam lists!

    It's not that forums do this, but it's all the "bad" spiders that will get them.

    Shouldn't it be admin@a1webserver.com?
    If you're using an email client to send the mail, make sure that "Server requires authentication." is switched on in it.

    Hi my domain is a1webserve, and i am using the webmail addon in ISPconfig.

    Please post the content of /etc/postfix/main.cf, comments stripped.

    OK guys this little problem is now sorted Thanks to everyone who has contributed :)
