First online experiences were on BBS/Fidonet at, somehow, 300 baud. Recall the delight at getting a 2400 baud modem and by the time I'd finally been able to afford a US Robotics 14.4 modem I was sure that was the future.

Have been administrating my own server and/or VPS for decades and still do. Also I've administered servers for non-profit organisations. ISPConfig makes this more straightforward for myself and non-profit organisations I've worked with. The ISPConfig scripts are consistently solid & logical. The tutorials are equally solid and clear; the best I've seen.

In all this time I can say in all honesty that the forums here at HowtoForge have been the most accurate and helpful of any I've seen. HowtoForge is simply brilliant. I recommend HowtoForge whenever I'm unable to come up with a solution when asked.
