I saw ISPConfig goes to 3.0.2.1, so I want to upgrade it. But I saw that 3.0.2 start to use bind DNS instead myDNS. So, is it a must to resetup all records from admin page? there's no any upgrade path? And, is there any big change that I need to be careful of the upgrade? maildrop and dovecot? Actually I use all server functions of ISPConfig. Thanks.
No, thats not the case. Bind is supported as alternative for new installs, there is nothing changed on updates. So your system will still use mydns and there is no need to update to bind. mydns will still be the primary supported dns server. Same as with bind. Its an optional supported daemon for new installs. Your server will still use courier and maildrop after the update as it was usedon 3.0.1.6.
