The api calls have not been changed, just a few missing checks have been added. In your case, you try to add a client to another client while you can add a client only to a reseller. A reseller is a client where "limit_client" != 0 Beside that, there is a issue with adding websites, the fix is available in the bugtracker: http://bugtracker.ispconfig.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=3632
