Hello, I have set up a new website using ISPConfig on my ubuntu 8.04 server machine. But I am getting 404 errors all around.. Even when I enter the machines ip address. Kind regards CrossWind.
Sites in ISPConfig can not be accessed by IP. Make sure that the domain you want to access has a DNS-A-record that points to the IP address of your server and then access the site by its domain name.
yea i know that. but i mean with entering IP, that i dont get that page thing..... it isn;t supposed to be 404.. and the domain doesnt work either.. im reinstalling ubuntu server atm.. and configure it propperly so. kind regards crosswind ps. shift isnt working lol Edit: Okay, reinstalled everything, Followed the tutorial thing. except for the hostname cuz its bull, just use localhost. i'm using no-ip.com works like a charm now for the people who dont belive me: http://mengesgroup.no-ip.org/
