5TB, how to manage/format

Hello,
im building a server which will habe 4x2TB drives with a RAID5.

I wanna have one / partition for the OS with 15GB.
than the rest i would like to put in /storage, where also the homes will be located.

should i just format with ext4 or use a LVM?

I always prefer LVM due to its ease of use and manageability.
