a pause for every file uploded via FTP

    Hi,
I have a strange problem with FTP. All works well: I can access websites, I can authenticate, browse folders, upload and download files.
The problem is that when I start a multi-file upload, after every upload and before to start next one, I have a big delay that makes session too long (1 files every 3-5 seconds). When the upload starts, the speed is good.
I cannot find any problem or I haven't idea about the problem, someone can help me?

The FTP client is Filezilla on Win. The FTP session is passive. The FTP server is behind a NAT, with right ports forwarded (and upload works, the problem is the delay).
/var/log/pure-ftpd doesn't report any error or warning

    thanks

Is the passive ports range forwarded as well?

yes, same ports as defined in /etc/pure-ftpd/conf/PassivePortRange
I think this is ok, otherwise connections will be blocked and uploads will not start. But after the starting pause, my uploads work well.
