i need some easy to understan guideline for me to use the ispconfig system~ so far i using the ispconfig website documetation as guideline but it was confusing me~!!! any1 pls teach me some easy guideline how to use the ispconfig system more effective~ thx~ here is my question~! 1. How to create new e-mail to client? How to test the email is work or not? 2. How to create the Hosting plan? How to update my web to the ispconfig hosting? 3. Can i use FTP program to up my web to my own ispconfig hosting? actually i was newbie on all of this~ pls help me~ THX~
1) Within ISPconfig, select a web form the stucture tree. Then go to the user@email tab and create a useraccount by defining an emailaddress, a login name and a password. Create that account on your pc within your emailclient and it should work! 2) You can simply create Hostingplans by clicking the "Hostingplan" button. On the form define to which reseller the plan belongs and define the available items for that plan within the form. Afte you've created one or more hostingplans, you can select one of them, when you create a new website. You can upload your website using any FTP-client. Every user that you create has FTP-access as long as the FTP-access feature on the web-form is enabled. The user marked as administrator is able to upload the website to http://yourdomain.tld. Other users upload their info to http://www.yourdomain.tld/~loginname. 3) I think i've answered this question at 2) already!
