    Hello,

first of all I will say "Thank you" for this very good peace of software.

Now I have some problems to understand the user structure.

Ok, I create a web and asign this to a user. So far so good.
Now I have to create a user for the access (FTP) with admin status.
I think so far I understood.
    -----------------------------------------------------------
So further I need some mailboxes for different departments. BUT NOW! Every user get his own webspace, FTP and mail.

But I need only the mailbox!!!!

Is there a way to create only the mailbox and rid off the rest things?

    ------------------------------------------------------------
And if I want access the webspace of an user, how can I access this by the browser?

    user.domain.tld is not working!
    web_user.domain.tld is not working!

This feature will be available in a future ISPConfig version.

Have a look at chapter 2.2.9 here: http://www.ispconfig.org/downloads/manual_en/manual_kunde_en_src.htm#4_2_2

Is this already included in the dev Version?

Thanks for the hint with the user documentation. Now this is clear ;)

Anyway, whats the problem with that? no administrator users cant login on ftp, if you care for webspace (dont know why, because they will be always empty cause nobody will ever upload files) put 0 or 1kb... no big deal..

    Hello,

I not care about some MB Webspace.

But for me it makes no sense when I only need a mail address, that I create webspace and entries to vhosts.conf. This are useless balast.

Also, I have some programmer. They work on different projects. Each of them need access by FTP to the web, but should not have a email-address.

You see, there are some reasons, why this is usefull.

    Anyway!
Is this in the dev-version already included?
